In the past we have often heard about shortages of products containing the active ingredient Epinephrine; also known as Adrenaline. But taking a closer look at it one could always identify the real cause. It was either a manufacturer withdrawing their pharmaceutical formulation from the market or a supply chain issues related to medical device needed for injecting the finished dosage.

Further extension of validity of GMP certificates up to end of 2024

Initially the validity of GMP certificates for manufacturing sites of API’s located outside the Economic European Area (EEA) was automatically extended until the end of 2023 without the need for further action from the holder of the certificate due to the pandemic crisis. The EEA authorities have now announced another extension until the end of 2024.

Transo-Pharm offers JobRad

Transo-Pharm is now offering its employees the opportunity to lease a company bike through a model called JobRad.

The first employees are already cycling to work on their new e-bikes and may, of course, also use them for private trips at home or during vacation.

On the one hand it will have an effect on every cyclist to counteract the sedentary office work. And on the other hand we see an environmental effect: cars stay at home – CO2 is minimized.

This cooperation is in line with the current zeitgeist of our corporate culture and we as employees are very happy about it.

Even our Little Guy has expressed his interest already...

Stephanie Ehlers

Stephanie worked for our regulatory affairs department for almost nine years and has decided to make a carreer change and take on a new challenge.

Extended validity of GMP certificates up to end of 2023

The validity of GMP certificates for manufacturing sites of API’s located outside the Economic European Area (EEA) are automatically extended until the end of 2023 without the need for further action from the holder of the certificate, unless the issuing/supervisory authority takes any action that affects the validity of the certificate.

This automatic extension is applied in the same manner as for certificates of manufacturing sites located within the EU.
